INTRODUCTION

The Move ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you join The Move and when you interact with our SMS messaging program.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

›Your mobile phone number.

›The date and time of your opt-in, and the fact that you confirmed it with a verification code.

›An alias and character you choose yourself in the member portal.

›Which events you RSVP to and attend, so we know who to let in.

›Your message delivery status, so we stop texting numbers that no longer work.

HOW WE USE IT

›To send event announcements, passphrases, access codes and member news.

›To confirm membership and to process opt-out requests.

›To run the member portal — your member number, alias, character and rewards.

›To manage guest lists and entry at our events.

Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

DATA SHARING AND THIRD PARTIES

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of data exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is not shared with any third party under any circumstances.

Your data is shared only with the service providers needed to operate the programme: Twilio for message delivery and Supabase for secure storage. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.

DATA SECURITY

We use industry-standard security measures, including row-level access controls so that a member's record is only readable by that member. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

DATA RETENTION

We keep your number for as long as you remain opted in. When you opt out, your number is marked inactive and stops receiving messages. You can ask us to delete your record entirely at any time.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Move is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a minor has given us their number, email us and we will remove it.

CHANGES

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
